Spielbergs "The Terminal"

Bei Aint-it-cool trudeln die ersten Reaktionen auf Steven Spielbergs jüngsten Film "The Terminal" ein, in dem Tom Hanks mit Catherine Zeta-Jones in einem Flughafen-Terminal eingesperrt ist. Wer hier einen J.G. Ballardschen Essay über "Nicht-Orte" oder die Bildung von Exklusions-Zonen erwartet, wird sehr enttäuscht sein:

It appears that Spielberg and Hanks decided, after CATCH ME IF YOU CAN, to make another "safe" Hollywood picture with another annoying big-name co-star (who manages not to be annoying). There's nothing powerful or deep here, but it's light and fun, and I'm glad I saw it, even if I have no intention of seeing it again.
